Too Stupid To Prevent Climate Change

March 31, 2010

That’s what James Lovelock says, “Humans are too stupid to prevent climate change.” I don’t know what he’s really trying to say here but you should read it for yourself at this link. He also had some quite unflattering things to say about today’s scientists here. I think I’m starting to like this guy though.

Let me see if I can break it down for you. Not what Lovelock says, read that for yourself at the links, what I know. It’s a cold winter. Why? The Earth wobbles on its axis. It has wobbled in such a way that we are farther from the sun. In addition the sun has not produced any sun spots lately. They put the suns energy closer to us. There you have a colder winter. And, we are too stupid to prevent it. I concur.

Now that I’ve solved that dilemma for you let’s move on to yesterdays Jeopardy show. There was a warmist on there who stated unequivocally that global warming is happening. She went on to amass a whopping fifty dollars in Final Jeopardy. I thought this fitting of someone with such a giant brain. Sorry. I just couldn’t resist. Yes, it’s true. Alex always seems to tap dance around these issues, he made no firm commitment one way or the other just a guarded remark about influential people who felt differently. Smart, that one.

Anyway, be sure to check out these links. It’s great and as always, screw environmentalists.

The Media

November 6, 2009

FOX News is the good guy as I understand it? The rest are slanted to the left, is that right? Talk radio is the only fair place for real news, is that how it is? These are things I hear over and over from self-respecting conservatives. Yet I hear these same people talking about this and that on the very channels they are condemning. How funny “Two And A Half Men” is. How good the movie was the other night. How bad Anderson Cooper was last night. WTF?

Where I live you have to get cable if you want the internet. I don’t have fast internet. Why you ask? Glad you did. I don’t like the left leaning liberal media. I don’t like that they got Chairman Zero elected. I don’t like that they are dumbing down America. I don’t like that they are erroding our morality. Therefore I don’t support them. For now I have basic cable for the internet but I am working to get more than three channels with the broadcast TV and I am always searching for an alternative to cable internet. I have even looked into becoming my own Internet Service Provider (ISP). Not cheap. Also not simple.

Yes, I pay for BASIC cable. Just for the internet. I watch two and a half hours of TV a week. Jeopardy, that’s it. And I don’t always watch that. You can’t pay me to watch that damn celebrity tournament. I don’t want to call it hypocracy but what is it when you complain about something and then turn right around and shell out hard earned money to support it?

I’m not here to call names or start any movements. What I am trying to do is shine a light on a problem that exists. As long as you keep pumping money to these jackals they think they are giving you what you want. That’s it, it’s just that simple to these people. If the money stops coming in the BS will quit going out. In these tough times when you are looking for someplace to save a few dollars a month you might look at cutting back to basic cable. See if that don’t send a message?

Conundrum

October 23, 2009

With each passing day, as fewer people remain baffled with Chairman Zero’s BS, and even fewer dazzled by his brilliance, we are finding ourselves faced with a conundrum, an enigma, somewhat of a catch 22. It’s looking like 2010 will be the day of reckoning for many a parasitic congressperson. And I know you’re thinking, “But what about (fill in the name of the latest endearing representative)? Shouldn’t we give him one more chance?”

It seems that we have moderate Democrats of your basic blue dog variety and truly conservative Republicans, ala Joe “You Lie” Wilson rising to the top every day. Are they the cream of the crop or the cream of the crap? Do we vote them out or try to keep the good ones. Truly a classic conundrum. If you’re a gullible schlub who has nothing between his ears to stop the wind.

Think. And think about this. If these folks are so good and conservative and they truly reflect your values, where the heck have they been for two, four, six and even twenty and forty years? Got the answer yet? I’ll whistle the Jeopardy tune then I’ll tell you. Ba dum dum dum. Time’s up.

Contestant one says his rep was trapped and could not go against his colleagues or he would not be able to get anything done. Alex says oh sorry that’s wrong. How much will it cost you? OHH! $900,000,000,000,000.00 for a fake health care bill. You lose.

Contestant two says his rep just got elected two years ago and hasn’t had time. Alex says oh sorry that too is wrong and how much will it cost you? OHH! $38,000.00 for each legal man woman and child in the United States for failed bailouts. Too bad you really lose.

Alex comes to me and I say, it’s a trick question Alex because they have been laying low and watching the way the wind blows and then moving in that direction to make their life easy. They only started doing the job we pay them handsomely to do when we got off our supersized butts and started going to tea parties and e-mailing them and jamming up their phone lines. We need to get rid of every single one of them and do it regularly. Nobody should ride along on the gubmint for more than a term in the same position. Alex says oh sorry you got the question right but you forgot to phrase it in the form of a question so you will have to pay right along with the rest of these losers. See ya. I’m going back to Canada where it’s only half socialist. Not funny Trebek.
