Bedtime

June 24, 2010

When I was young I was used to things being done a certain way. The area I lived in was pretty standardized. There was a major city nearby and they had a worldwide industry. Several large corporations ran this industry and as a result all the businesses that made it in the area catered to that industry and it’s employees. Things were done a certain way and everybody followed suit or they went out of business rather quickly. The schools and everything were oriented toward this.

I had heard stories of businesses that ran differently but I had never seen anything like it. As I moved farther from the city I started seeing this first hand. I actually had one business owner tell me, “Well that’s the way I do it.” And I remember thinking how dumb he must be because certainly he would soon go out of business. But he didn’t. I started to realize that life was not standardized.

I learned things like the more responsibility you take the more you are in charge and different people handle this differently. However, as long as they are doing the right thing it really doesn’t matter how they accomplish it. I now have noticed that Chairman Zero is pushing these basic principles to the limit and a lot of people don’t think he is doing the right thing. As his Presidency goes on we are seeing more and more people who think this way put into office. This should result in a good swing towards the gubmint doing the right thing.

Basically, if you allow what other people think of you to determine what you do you are going to be a loser. What does all this have to do with bedtime. Well, in Japan they have decreed that everybody should go to bed an hour earlier to reduce their carbon emissions and help tackle global warming. It’s true, read it here. Have you heard something stupider today? Until next time, screw environmentalists.

Afghanistan

November 24, 2009

Can you tell me why we’re in Afghanistan? Are we really looking for Bin Ladin? The same old tired answers. The Taliban, Bin Ladin, what? Certainly it’s not that we’re opposed to sharia law as we’re allowing it to infiltrate our culture. Why do we even have such an army? Someone on the radio the other day said it was mandated by the Constitution to protect us. I can’t find that crap anywhere in our Constitution.

The real answer to our middle east problems is to get the heck out. These people have been at war for thousands of years and maybe that’s why the world thinks we’re arrogant. Because we think we’re going to go in there and end all this.

The first thing I always hear when I suggest this is, “What about Isreal?”. My friends let me tell you about Isreal. It’s not Isreal that needs protecting from us, they can take care of themselves. If anything we restrict them from having their way in the middle east. Isreal is a military powerhouse not to be triffled with that would make quick work of any invading force if not for our meddling. I said ANY invading force.

Why then are we in the middle east? This question has always puzzled me since I was very young and first found out what was going on there. As long as I can remember we have had a military presence there. The obvious answer is oil but that don’t seem to be adding up. We go in there and tear up and spend billions of dollars and all we get is higher gas prices. No, oil doesn’t make sence either.

How about control, are we trying to control some thing or some one? I don’t really see that happening. Everytime we go in there we seem to lose control. No, I think that if you’ll think about it you’ll find that the only thing happening here is a redistribution of wealth.

WHAT? Well think about it.

We have made the Saudi’s very wealthy. Every street urchin there has pockets full of American dollars. Oil money. As well as Viet Nam, Korea, Japan. Need I continue? WTF? Don’t listen to Hanoi Jane and her ilk on this. Those people are so much better off than they were that it makes me sick. Go there. See for yourself. Ask them. They will tell you.

The media goes in and finds all the hard luck stories to tear at your heart but the real story is that we brought these countries out of the middle ages and into the present. Has anyone been paying attention? The best thing that can happen to these third world holes is for us to drag our big, dumb, military butts in there and stimulate the heck out of their economy.

REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH! It has been going on right under your nose for your entire life and you didn’t even realize it.

Immigration

May 18, 2009

When my ancestors came here they were not greeted with open arms and signs in their native language. They were told to learn the language and get to work. They actually built the road to the farm where my Grandma lives to this day. The present administration is telling a far different story than the one they are practicing. You can imagine my surprise when I saw this story from the AP.

2 Adult Students Taken Into Custody At White House

WASHINGTON (AP) — Two people facing deportation from the United States have been taken into custody at the White House gate. They had arrived for a tour of the executive mansion.

The pair was part of an adult education program, and a routine background check showed they had an outstanding immigration order against them.

White House spokesman Nick Shapiro says they were taken into custody Thursday morning before they entered the compound.

All White House visitors are required to undergo a U.S. Secret Service background check. Shapiro says agents discovered the problems and informed immigration officials, according to protocol.

Should we accept these people into our neighborhoods to live next to our children when Chairman Zero won’t even let them look at his house. Call a spade a spade, these people are, by the fact of being here, breaking the law, they are ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Politically correct is at best wrong. I’m a Native American and I do not care that the team is called the Braves or Indians okay. I’m also German, French, Welch, Dutch and I don’t know what else. It doesn’t matter, I was born here, I’m an American first, the rest is just history. As for being a Native American we are a conquered people. Therefore our future is dictated by the people that conquered us, Tough, huh? Why didn’t this happen when we conquered Japan, Italy and Germany?

I say build the wall tall and thick and guard it well. Bring the troops home from these God forsaken third world holes that hate us and put them on the wall. And tighten that north border as well.
