Cowgate

March 23, 2010

This is better than Climategate because it is so much stupider to begin with. According to a 2006 United Nations (UN) report (there’s your first strike) titled “Livestock’s Long Shadow”, “livestock is responsible for 18 % of the greenhouse gases… a higher share than transport.” The problem arises when the “science” is scrutinized. Apparently the “scientists” factored in growing animal feed and processing meat and dairy products as well as digestive gases, which was an unfair comparison to the transport industry.

The giant brain behind this revelation, Frank Mitloehner, an air quality expert at the University of California at Davis, says the focus of reducing greenhouse gases should be on smarter farming not less farming. But alas, here he opens a whole new can of liberal dilemmas. Smart farming amounts to cruelty to animals, something that is sure to tweak the peta people out of shape.

Giant Brain went on to recommend that the US reduce the use of oil and coal claiming that this creates 26 % of all greenhouse gases. This is all fine and dandy but the whole schmear ignores the obvious fact that GLOBAL WARMING IS A LIE! Yes, remember, Climategate, hide the decline, the winter of 1979? Do I need to continue or are you starting to remember? Anyway, if you would like to read a bang-up article from Jenifer Harper of the Washington Times about this go to www.dumb. Until next time, screw environmentalists.

EPA’s Back-Door Regulations

March 4, 2010

The first thing that grabs my attention is why would the Supreme Court have anything to do with “compelling the EPA to begin regulating greenhouse gases”? Anyway, in 2007 they did just that so the EPA will release regulations at the end of the month for vehicles and over the next two years for “stationary sources”. Will that be including congress?

At any rate this got Democratic Senator John Rockefeller’s thong in a wad so he “crafted” some legislation that will “safeguard jobs, the coal industry, and the entire economy”. Really? The entire economy, not just part of it? That’s awesome. What a god among lawmakers. A true inspiration for them all. Funny thing, today I was listening to Senator Jim DeMint on the Glenn Beck Show and Beck called him Jim, immediately apologized and called him Senator, to which DeMint replied, “That’s OK, I worked real hard for the name Jim.” I almost died laughing.

Meanwhile, back in thongwad land a host of gods among lawmakers have “crafted” legislation similar to the great JR’s. Among them such all time favorites as Mary Landrieu and Ben Nelson of Louisiana Purchase and Cornhusker Kickback fame. The question that comes to mind here is what does this global warming scam really mean to these people? Are you beginning to see the whole picture here? Until next time, screw environmentalists.

Greenhouse Gases

January 25, 2010

I was going to write about the media but then I thought about climate change and how it’s all but over. Then I thought about the EPA and their BS declaring carbon dioxide a greenhouse gas and I figured I better check. So I go to Climate Depot and there it is. A Politico headline “A cap-and-trade bill has a shot in the Senate”. So I go to the article and sure enough these jackals are planning legislation but with out the cap-and-trade part.

If the above isn’t enough to get your thong in a wad how about this? Voinovich, Lugar and Graham are all willing to work with the Democrats on this. Apparently the only one not playing nice with the Democrats is newly elected Scot Brown who, according to the Politico, “expressed skepticism that climate change is being caused by humans.” How long do you think it will be before he goes along with the pack (That’s right isn’t it? Jackals run in packs?).

Anyway this has gone way over the deep end here. I am skeptical that carbon monoxide (the poison stuff out of tailpipes) is a greenhouse gas, much less carbon dioxide (the stuff trees breath in and you breath out). I also question the actual existence of greenhouse gases altogether. As far as I can see no real climate change has occurred. This is just the normal ebb and flow of the weather. How can a bunch of fools take something like that and turn it into this…   whatever expletive you desire.
