Too Stupid To Prevent Climate Change

March 31, 2010

That’s what James Lovelock says, “Humans are too stupid to prevent climate change.” I don’t know what he’s really trying to say here but you should read it for yourself at this link. He also had some quite unflattering things to say about today’s scientists here. I think I’m starting to like this guy though.

Let me see if I can break it down for you. Not what Lovelock says, read that for yourself at the links, what I know. It’s a cold winter. Why? The Earth wobbles on its axis. It has wobbled in such a way that we are farther from the sun. In addition the sun has not produced any sun spots lately. They put the suns energy closer to us. There you have a colder winter. And, we are too stupid to prevent it. I concur.

Now that I’ve solved that dilemma for you let’s move on to yesterdays Jeopardy show. There was a warmist on there who stated unequivocally that global warming is happening. She went on to amass a whopping fifty dollars in Final Jeopardy. I thought this fitting of someone with such a giant brain. Sorry. I just couldn’t resist. Yes, it’s true. Alex always seems to tap dance around these issues, he made no firm commitment one way or the other just a guarded remark about influential people who felt differently. Smart, that one.

Anyway, be sure to check out these links. It’s great and as always, screw environmentalists.

What’s Really Happening: 2nd Amendment

March 30, 2010

I heard a story this morning about a black man, a woman, a gay man, and a wise Latino woman and it got me wondering how the wise Latino woman would be ruling with her associates on the Chicago Gun Case. As I searched for information that did not come I found an article at the NRA-ILA that made me feel a little better.

It told of SB-2099. You know, the old bill that died in committee nearly a decade ago. But at the end was a link to another story that did even more for me. It dispelled several BS stories that I have been hearing. I knew they were BS I just didn’t have the ammo to prove it. Well, here it is.

But, in the course of reading these stories I thought about why I do not belong to the NRA and I can’t think of one good reason. I used to belong and I let it lapse and I haven’t re-upped. These articles made me realize just how much the NRA actually does for me and as soon as I finish here I will be re-upping. As a matter of fact here is the link to join.

I remember the one thing that I wish I had done so many years ago when I belonged and I will be doing that this time as they have made it easier than ever. I will become a lifetime member. Then it was $200.00, now it’s $1,000.00 but they have the Easy Pay Life (EPL) where they bill you quarterly $25.00 until the $1,000.00 is paid in full. No interest. Pretty cool I thought. Quite a deal for an outfit that does as much as the NRA does for our 2nd Amendment right, at least that’s what I thought after reading these articles.

Anyway that’s where I’m headed right now. Until next time, screw environmentalists.

Fringe Groups

March 29, 2010

Odd isn’t it? Four days ago I mentioned the Michigan Militia in this blog and last night they are raided by the FBI. My mention was of how they are a little fringe to say the least but I had no idea how far out there they were. I wonder if this “Hutaree” group are closely affiliated with the main group or what?

The only reason I mention this at all is because I go to the Tea Parties. I know of the Michigan Militia because I used to live there, not because I belonged. I keep hearing how these type of people are the Tea Party movement and I’m here to tell you it just ain’t so.

The few representatives of the Michigan Militia that I came in personal contact with were to say the least, quite alarming. I was at a public meeting and there was a truck outside with a handmade license plate that said Militia on it. I watched to see who got in the truck after the meeting. Again, they were alarming. They set off a warning in me, I was just surprised that the State Police that were taking down license numbers in the parking lot did nothing.

I keep hearing on the MSM that the Tea Partiers are a political group. This is also untrue. I have met Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians and all other sorts of people at these parties. Once I even met some people from Japanese TV. Some people just don’t get it. It’s not an organization it’s a movement. People from all walks of life and different organizations moving in the same direction. Towards the Constitution.

Earth Hour

March 26, 2010

Don’t forget Patriots, the heathen will be celebrating earth hour tomorrow at 8:30 PM by turning off their lights until 9:30 PM. I however will be turning on every light in the house and outside the house and as an extra added precaution I will be starting the cars to idle in the driveway with their lights on.

That’s it. That’s all for Section 2. Does this last part make you wonder what’s going on with Khalid Sheik Mohamed? Put your questions in the comments section and we’ll find out about them.

The threats, I could fill this page with the threats the libs are claiming. The ones that gall me in particular are the ones to Stupak that have been attributed to conservatives but were made when he was voting against the health care enslavement initiative. Those were your own people jerk! They thought you were a traitor to their communist cause!

I lived in this guys district and he is a jerk. The Michigan Militia is prevalent there. I’ve seen hand-made license plates to prove it. I heard the threats that occurred after he voted and they were nothing. They called him a steaming pile of human pelosi (pelosi – the new cuss word for excrement. Use it! Get it in the slang dictionary).

Death threats occur to these people all the time but they only come to the surface when it suits their purpose. They want you to feel sorry for them. Bullpelosi! They rammed a flawed bill down our throats and now they fear for their jobs (and I use the term loosely). Read the Fox News article about it because you won’t get the straight story anywhere else. Still waiting for footage on the slurs that are so prevalent in the MSM. Check out this article on Cantor.

I don’t feel sorry for any of them. I’m sick of all of them and I can’t wait for November. Until next time, screw environmentalists.

The First Amendment

March 24, 2010

Here we go again. The ink isn’t even dry on the last assault on our freedom and already they are after free speech. The bricks thrown through the window that I spoke of the other day – the fault of a blog. Death threats – blogs. I heard Slaughter on the radio with my own ears blame the whole brick thing on a blog. Some other lib was spouting about addresses being put on blogs.

You see, they can’t tolerate any opposition. They will now demonize this medium to the point that Chairman Zero will have to regulate it. REGULATE IT! My free speech. Regulate my free speech. China is working out the details for him as we speak. The liberal champion, Google, is taking it on the chin from China right now. Now that’s funny. But you know what? It’s the proving ground for things to come. Mark my words. Just like the military and the police are the only ones who really need guns, the mainstream media are the only ones who really need free speech. You see how it rolls?

Come on folks, these are God-given rights, not some crock dreamed up by Che Guvera or however you spell his cursed name. These are not privileges granted by Chairman Zero, to be revoked at his whim. If we keep letting them infringe on one because it don’t appeal to us we will soon have none.

One tactic that I liked for fighting back is described in the iowntheworld blog and you can check it out right here. One thing I really like here is that they give a site you can go to and find out who your favorite shopkeep donates to. Other than that I just want to say, as usual, screw environmentalists.

This is better than Climategate because it is so much stupider to begin with. According to a 2006 United Nations (UN) report (there’s your first strike) titled “Livestock’s Long Shadow”, “livestock is responsible for 18 % of the greenhouse gases… a higher share than transport.” The problem arises when the “science” is scrutinized. Apparently the “scientists” factored in growing animal feed and processing meat and dairy products as well as digestive gases, which was an unfair comparison to the transport industry.

The giant brain behind this revelation, Frank Mitloehner, an air quality expert at the University of California at Davis, says the focus of reducing greenhouse gases should be on smarter farming not less farming. But alas, here he opens a whole new can of liberal dilemmas. Smart farming amounts to cruelty to animals, something that is sure to tweak the peta people out of shape.

Giant Brain went on to recommend that the US reduce the use of oil and coal claiming that this creates 26 % of all greenhouse gases. This is all fine and dandy but the whole schmear ignores the obvious fact that GLOBAL WARMING IS A LIE! Yes, remember, Climategate, hide the decline, the winter of 1979? Do I need to continue or are you starting to remember? Anyway, if you would like to read a bang-up article from Jenifer Harper of the Washington Times about this go to www.dumb. Until next time, screw environmentalists.

Steely Eyed Resolve

March 22, 2010

As I listened to a local talk show on the way home from work this is the phrase that impressed me. Steely eyed resolve. The local talk show guy used these words to describe the opposition he was seeing to Obamacare. I just want to insert this here, when I typed Obamacare spell check came up with a suggestion for a correct spelling. Macabre. Isn’t that odd? Anyway back to steely eyed resolve.

Last night when I heard that this abortion had passed (pun intended) I feared the worst. I envisioned armies of opposition forces dragging legislators from their offices and using the tar and feather treatment. I really feared more violence than the bricks thrown through the windows at the Democratic headquarters.

Then, this morning, as I was on my way to work I hear on the radio the organized, peaceful opposition and I remember who I am dealing with here. These people are conservatives. They don’t resort to violence when every little thing doesn’t go their way. Now I just want to say this truly is a great Presidency. He did what Reagan, both Bush’s, Carter, and Clinton could not. He made me a registered Republican. As a Libertarian of thirty plus years I was so impressed that I went in and registered as a Republican.

At first I felt sad. Then all day I wondered if I should switch back to no party. Then I heard it. This statement by a local talk show host. People are lining up against this with “steely eyed resolve”. Right then and there I knew I had made the right decision. If a few thousand people did this today what kind of message is that going to send to DC? If tens of thousands did thisĀ  what will they think?

Since I have been lined up against this from the beginning, as anyone who knows me personally will tell you with steely eyed resolve, I am pleased with this development. Just thought I’d let you know how the opposition is going to work this. With steely eyed resolve. Until next time, screw environmentalists.

Constitution Pt. 15

March 19, 2010

Article III. Section 1. The judicial Power of the United States, shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services, a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

That’s all for Section 1. Please leave any questions in the comments section and I will do my best to answer them.
